“I cannot say it strongly enough: to integrate meditation in action is the whole ground and point and purpose of meditation.”
— Sogyal Rinpoche
When everything feels urgent, how do we act without abandoning ourselves?
Do you feel a constant pressure to do something—but mired with fear, freeze, or overwhelm?
A sense that action is required, but your body won’t cooperate?
Difficulty staying present when the stakes feel high and the moment feels charged?
This is exactly the terrain of Karma Yoga.
Karma Yoga is the practice of acting in the world with awareness, steadiness, and compassion—especially when things feel hard. It teaches us how to stay in our bodies, remain connected to breath, and make the next right choice when that’s all we can see.
This isn’t abstract philosophy.
It’s real-time practice.
Practice for:
Acting without urgency hijacking your nervous system
Staying embodied in moments of pressure and fear
Responding rather than reacting
Letting action arise from presence, not panic
Karma Yoga asks us to return—again and again—to this moment, this breath, this body, even while the world is loud and demanding our attention.
This is practice for the world we want to live in.
This is how we create the conditions for clarity, care, and integrity.
This is how we learn to act without hardening.
In the Karma Yoga Module, you’ll practice alongside a weekly community committed to an open-hearted, generous, reciprocal world—one where we can feel deeply and stay resourced enough to engage.
Tantra Immersion School is here to practice with you.
To grieve with you.
To care about the world with you—without burning out or checking out.
We won’t pretend the times aren’t intense. We know the cards are stacked. And we also know the power of slowing down enough to breathe, rest, learn, and love together.
This is Tantra as embodied liberation practice—not an escape from the world, but a way to meet it with presence.
No spiritual jargon.
No bypassing.
Just grounded, relational practice for living and acting consciously in these times.
Connecting our Heart to our Actions.
This module has been created from the genuine need and desire we are collectively feeling to work and act in a different way, a way that is more connected to our Source and our Heart. No matter what “work” or “action” looks like in your life, the liberating path of Karma Yoga can amplify the joy and freedom you feel as you engage with it, guiding you on your path towards spiritual growth and personal transformation.
This 8-week online module calls into question not just what we are doing in the world, but more importantly how we are engaged with it.
How are we getting through the countless actions we take every day?
How are we relating with people in our lives?
How are we relating with the chaos, turmoil and uncertainty around us?
How are we relating with ourselves as people in motion in the 21st century?
Our inquiry will center around the concept of Karma Yoga, which means yoga (re-uniting with our deepest Self) of action. Weekly practices (both sitting and gentle movement-oriented practices which can be adapted for your body’s needs) will support your understanding and application of Karma Yoga in daily life. Teachings will invite a broad conceptual understanding, with many access-points of how to apply this awareness throughout our days and on our spiritual journey.
The path of Karma Yoga is accessible for everyone who would like to cultivate more awareness, more compassion, and more centeredness. No dogma or religious beliefs are necessary, and all cultural backgrounds are welcome. We will learn both the traditional understanding of karma and Karma Yoga, as well as what 2026 looks and feels like for a karma yogi.

Cultural Honoring
Tantra Yoga is a tradition that comes from the Indian subcontinent and is at least 1000 years old, with roots 3000+ years old. While the teachings of Tantra Immersion are as close to traditional as possible, there have been many interpretations of these teachings throughout the years which have often leaned more toward appropriating than honoring Tantra. There has also been a capitalistic and patriarchal tint to the teachings which underlies how they have been translated and handed down.
As a committed anti-racist and queer person, Grace, the founder and lead facilitator of Tantra Immersion, has spent the last 18 years through study and immersive personal experience sifting through what’s been handed down in their lineages and finding the deepest basis of “Truth” they can access. This path is what they offer in their teachings: a path that both honors the traditional teachings and is aware of the oppressive ways they have been inaccessible beyond white-bodied, spiritual circles for the last 100 years.
Tantra Immersion facilitators are always open to questions and critique about their interpretations and are actively working to update these teachings to be more aware of oppressive narratives, underlying patriarchal interpretations, and societal bias. This is a work in progress and will be for a long time to come. Your participation helps to keep shaping the teachings for the 21st century and beyond.

Scholarships for BIPOC/PGM students and future participants
The container for Tantra Immersion is open to all people. And, there is a loud cry from People of the Global Majority (BIPOC/PGM) to have containers that are not white majority. This has been hard to find in Western spiritual classes and communities.
The Tantra Immersion has an ongoing scholarship fund to support members of our community, prioritizing People of the Global Majority. All current registration fees include a 5% offering to this scholarship fund.
In addition, you are welcome to offer donations to this directly fund by contacting us.
FAQs
-
Yes, but we don’t do any ‘on-the-mat’ yoga in the Karma Yoga Module. Karma Yoga is about our daily life actions. We will offer a few movement options and seated meditation in the course.
Primarily, ‘yoga’ in this sense means a liberatory practice which brings us closer and closer to the essence of who we are, our True Self. As such, all of our yoga practices interiorize us within the body, breath, heart and mind.
-
No, there is no sexual touch or nudity. The Karma Yoga Module is a nonsexual course which teaches a breadth and depth of Tantra practices including how to relate to our own holistic energies.
-
Tantra modules continue deepening our on- and off-the-mat daily practice. While they may be best suited for graduates of the Tantra Immersion Yearlong Cohort, Hridaya Yoga modules or Hridaya Northwest or Hridaya Yoga Silent Retreats, they are accessible for any aspirant.
Topics are oriented to deepening our consciousness, our spiritual paradigm and our daily integrated practices, guiding you along on your spiritual journey towards personal transformation.
