Your Monthly Liberation Sangha: Online Tantra Community
Join our Monthly Tantra Workshop — a living Sangha for those walking the path of Tantra Yoga as a spiritual practice. This is an online Tantra community rooted in classical teachings, offering monthly gatherings where practitioners meet to deepen their meditation, explore embodied spiritual practice, and grow together in genuine connection.
Our Liberation teachings are grounded in the embodied understanding and practice of the Consciousness of Oneness — Non-Duality. This is Tantra not as concept but as direct, lived recognition: the play of the One appearing as the many, practiced in the body, in relationship, in community.
Rooted in the wisdom tradition of Non-Dual Tantra , our Sangha is a container for authentic spiritual growth — not performance, not perfection, just presence. Whether you're new to Tantra practice or a longtime student, this monthly rhythm offers a steady anchor for your unfolding path.
Each Monthly Tantra Workshop Gathering Includes:
Shared agreements that create a cohesive, trustworthy container for the group — the foundation of any true Sangha (see below)
Connection and sharing — a space to voice where you are in your spiritual journey, witnessed by a community walking a similar path
A spiritual teaching and contemplation, drawing from classical Tantric and Non-Dual wisdom
Practice of a Tantric technique — direct, experiential meditation and embodiment practice you can carry into daily life
Free Offering! This monthly gathering is offered freely, as an act of service to the Sangha.
Pre-Registration Required!

Please note: We close the room at 9:20am PT so we can hold a shared container with clear agreements for the full session.
“There are many mysteries to be unraveled, but the most important is the mystery of our Being.”

We are an open community dedicated to connection and transformation using the teachings and practices of Tantra and other embodied spiritual traditions to awaken conscious living, conscious loving and freedom.
-
We envision a world where all beings are held in unconditional love, able to speak their needs, wants, and desires, and are empowered in their sense of human and divine essence. We are committed to creating a community where we break down silent oppression, embrace human fallibility and show up together in love, playfulness and the ability to witness, accept and take responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions. Our ultimate goal is liberation – on an individual level, collective and global scale.
-
Please be aware of our 3 simple AGREEMENTS for attending Tantra Sangha:
1) Confidentiality – Share your own experience only. No names or personal references outside our container.
2) Take Care of Yourself – You are empowered to create your best safe experience. This means take breaks when you need, step in/out as you need, and honor yourself in everything you do and say.
3) Listen & Share from the Heart – Speak in I-Statements, don’t interpret/give advice on others’ experience unless invited, honor identities and individual experiences, let every voice speak for themselves.

Tantra Yoga is a tradition that comes from the Indian subcontinent and is at least 1000 years old, with roots 3000+ years old. While the teachings we offer are as close to traditional as possible, there have been many interpretations of these teachings throughout the years which have often leaned more toward appropriating than honoring Tantra. There has also been a capitalistic and patriarchal tint to the teachings which underlies how they have been translated and handed down.
As a committed anti-racist and anti-oppression organization, we are doing our work to sift through what’s been handed down in the Tantra lineages and find the deepest basis of “Truth” we can access. This path is what Tantra Immersion offers: a path that both honors the traditional teachings, while being aware of the oppressive ways they have been inaccessible beyond white- or privileged-bodies for the last 100+ years.
We are always open to questions and critique about our interpretations and are actively working to update these teachings to be more aware of oppressive narratives, underlying patriarchal interpretations, and societal bias. This is a work in progress and will be for a long time to come. Your participation helps to keep shaping the teachings for the 21st century and beyond.
At Tantra Immersion, which is based in so-called Washington State in the Pacific Northwest of the US, we acknowledge that racism and its real-world impacts effect each of us living in colonized culture. Our courses and spiritual practices include examining these impacts in our inner world and our outer actions.
Undoing oppression and white supremacy culture is a priority in our organization. We acknowledge that spiritual teachings throughout the last century have continued to provide more access for white, educated, financially affluent people.
We are committed to providing accessibility to receiving quality, holistic spiritual teachings for People of the Global Majority, BIPOC and People of Color through our donation-based weekly community gatherings and scholarships toward our online teachings, which are offered at significantly less than other meditation retreats in the US.
Welcome to Tantra Immersion School!

Our unique facilitators and team work to accommodate as many learning styles as possible.
For visual learners, there are written materials and occasional slide presentations. For auditory learners, we translate our written materials into audio format, and each class teaching is recorded and available after classes. Our embodied practices, including Hridaya Hatha Yoga, is a kinesthetic learning practice in itself.
We encourage discussion at multiple points during classes for those that learn in an interpersonal way. Instructors and facilitators can arrange for office hours if questions surface that are not addressed during class. Most importantly, our team is here to help with accommodation needs as they arise.
-
No. Anyone can learn to meditate, and we all learn differently. Hridaya meditation invites us to notice what’s happening in the body and mind, no matter how it shows up. We bring self-compassion to every practice session and a desire to honestly acknowledge and accept our experiences, while being curious what inner conditions we’d like to shift.
Tantric meditation is not about emptying your mind with the expectation of quiet or stillness. The invitation is to watch and witness whatever arises and create space between what is arising and who is noticing it arise.
This can feel like a daunting invitation in the beginning (or for the first few years). But for most, there is a sense of relief in becoming aware not just of the content of our mind, but also of the observer of our mind. Over time, a sense of inner stillness can be more consistently found which brings self-trust and self-compassion.
We offer many short mindfulness practices as well that can be used in everyday life to cultivate this sense of witnessing. With our wide range of practices, each participant can discover which modalities are most supportive for them.

One of our community agreements is to take care of yourself and your body. It’s very common these days to feel adverse to more digital time in our days. And yet, being online makes our community accessible to millions of people. Virtual spiritual practice and community connection is so new to our culture and, understandably, it does not fit everyone’s needs. Our school holds most courses and gatherings online so that we can reach folks around the world.
Our facilitators are here to explore options to help you find ways to engage that feel nourishing.
If you have specific accommodation needs, please reach out to discuss how we might be able to support you. Modifications could include:
a 1:1 check-in before, during or after a class
Having cameras on or off as needed
Staying for most of a gathering but stepping away if you feel drained by being online
Joining with a phone connection and walking or moving your body during the teaching portions of class.
Our sibling organization, Hridaya Northwest, offers several annual in-person Silent Meditation Retreats in the Northwestern U.S.

The practices in Tantra Immersion School are designed to slow us down. We orient in every gathering to listen inward and attend to our bodies, emotions and minds, noticing what’s in our hearts with self-compassion. And we also remind each other that our individual experiences are often amplified in a collective global experience, that we are not alone and can share what’s alive, what’s hurting, what’s joyful, what’s confusing with our trusted community.
We aspire to create a grounded, embodied, calm, slow, heart-centered environment in all of our gatherings. While we acknowledge our school environment is not for everyone, we strive to increase accessibility strategies every year. This includes actively undoing patriarchal and white supremacy culture norms.
Many who are drawn to the spiritual path are highly sensitive, deep feelers, empaths, and/or neuro-diverse, and, sadly, may have been left out of the conversation about accessibility in spirituality and liberation communities.
How we offer general and specific accommodations is a regular part of our leadership conversation – including our own personal experiences in similar communities. If you are finding a particular aspect of class challenging or would like to bring an accommodation need or idea to our attention, we strongly encourage you to do so by talking with a facilitator or team member.
